The Houstons Remember Whitney

Whitney Houston’s family and friends have a new show of their own airing on Lifetime next week. The channel just released a photo gallery to promote the show, which launches at 9 p.m. Oct. 24. The new show, called “The Houstons: On Our Own,” is billed as a “docu-series.” A bulletin from Lifetime says the show kicks off  with ”back to back episodes will chronicle those closest to the pop music icon which includes her daughterBobbi Kristina (also known as Krissy), 19; Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager; Whitney’s brother and Pat’s husband Gary Houston, their daughter Rayah Houston, 14; Grammy Award-winning singer Cissy Houston, Whitney and Gary’s mother and the family matriarch; and family friend, Nick Gordon, 22.” Whew! It is helpful to have that family tree to keep everyone straight! (source) Lifetime pays tribute to the late Whitney Houston with the special The Houstons Remember Whitney. Along with interviews featuring the pop star, members of Whitney’s family will share stories, home movies and photographs of a more personal nature. The special airs at 9pm. I assume this is a promo for the family reality show that premieres next week. Will you watch? I’m trying to see what’s the deal with this Nick Gordon guy. He seems suspect.
